Ben’s Zelda Homepage was founded in 1997 by Benjamin Berntsen, making it one of the earliest recorded Zelda fan sites. Before 1999, the website had exceeded its allowed bandwidth and was forced to move due to the popularity.

Ben’s Zelda Homepage hosts a collection of fan fiction, fan art, and music downloads, but the most unique content are the text adventure games. There are multiple sections of the site dedicated to simple text games that share game tips or work like a “choose your own adventure” fan fiction.
